Nothing like an old Country Bridge, our bridge at Coombe Mill has the same weak bridge sign on it. Makes a real feature of the landscape and perfect for a photo!
The water was just starting to burst the bank, the grass was very soggy and the road was starting to get a puddle by the grass, thankfully it has gone back down again now.

DeleteLovely English scene, but gosh that river looks high :/
ReplyDeleteYes it was very high, we'd had rain for days, and luckily this was as high as the river got this time.
DeleteAn idyllic scene & no rain, but it looks like all that water is in the river.
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous English country scene - you must live somewhere lovely! Glad the river didn't get any higher though x
ReplyDeleteSadly it does about 3 or 4 times a year, at the moment the fields next to it are still flooded although the level of the river has gone down now.
DeleteLovely picture.
