ohh a beautiful home grown pumpkin! We tried to grow some several years ina row but never really got many big ones! I will look forward to seeing your carved efforts next week?!
Well done Dawn. A super pumpkin methinks. There is a line about half-way across the middle of the pumpkin, then a mark at the end of the line - it looks like a mouth with a tongue licking the top lip. I have a very active imagination.
Hope you will be carving him on Wednesday!
ReplyDeleteOh yes, got third place with it today, carve it up and loads of soup and pie from it **rubs tummy**
DeleteThat is a mighty fine looking pumpkin!
ReplyDeleteThanks it has been lovingly cared for and won third prize at our allotment today...
DeleteWell done on your prize.
ReplyDeleteThank you..
DeleteCongrats on third place, we didn't manage to grow a single pumpkin this year... :(
ReplyDeleteThey were all a lot smaller this year than in previous years, but the weather has been appalling! My Butternut Squashes were a total failiure :o(

ReplyDeleteYes it does look a bit like a mouth, not sure what caused the blemish but it certainly made it unique Jill xx
