What Himself Saw!

Himself was out and about in Tottenham Court Road, London on Tuesday when he came across this rather unusual Busker.

I'm so glad he is finally getting the hang of getting his camera out to capture these odd moments he stumbles across!

He was actually playing the Tuba with the flames shooting out of the top and was very good.

What an awesome Busker.

Wish I had seen him for myself

Badger Boo's Jackanory Stories

Some of you may not know, but I also write a blog called Badger Boo's Daft Adventures that is written from my dogs point of view.

I enjoy writing it and it's a small piece of escapism in a hectic life, plus Badger Boo enjoys replying to your comments himself, it's just a bit of harmless, bonkers fun.

Over the last few months he has been writing his memoirs under the title of Jackanory which was a popular children's series in my youth ** a very long time ago**

Thought for the Weekend

Remember a layer of dust protects the Wood beneath it.

'A house becomes a home when you can write 'I love you' on the furniture.'

I used to spend at least 8 hours every weekend making sure things were just perfect - 'in case someone came over'
.
I realized one day that no-one came over, they were all out living life and having fun!

NOW, when people visit, I don't have to explain the 'condition' of my home.

If you haven't figured this out yet, please heed this advice..

Life is short.

Enjoy it!

Dear Mr Cameron

Please find below our suggestion for fixing the UK's economy.

Instead of giving billions of pounds to banks that will squander the money on lavish parties and unearned bonuses, use the following plan.

You can call it the Patriotic Retirement Plan:

There are about 10 million people over 50 in the work force.

Pay them £1 million each severance for early retirement with the following stipulations:

1) They MUST retire.
Ten million job openings - unemployment fixed

2) They MUST buy a new British car.
Ten million cars ordered - Car Industry fixed

Just for Fun...

Copied from a friend on facebook, thought it was time I added some humour to this Blog... Hope you find it as funny as I do... Warning:- This does contain some swear words!

Dear employee:
As a result of the reduction of money budgeted for all department areas, we are forced to cut down on our number of personnel. Under this plan, older employees will be asked to take early retirement, thus permitting the retention of younger people who represent our future

Therefore, a program to phase out older personnel by the end of the next fiscal year, via retirement, will be placed into effect immediately.

This program will be known as S.L.A.P. (Severance of Late-Aged Personnel).

Employees who are SLAPPED will be given the opportunity to look for jobs outside the company.

SLAPPED employees can request a review of their employment records before actual retirement takes place.
