Any idiot can face a crisis - it's day to day living that wears you out!
Great post...I felt the emotions in the poem.
Thank you for your comment Joy, glad to hear the emotion was felt, it is so frustrating not running any more...
'My companion Arthritis' - excellent line. Another great poem, Dawn x.
Thank you Lesley, pain can be a great inspiration at times xxx
Dawn, your poem pulled me out of denial for a moment. It's sad to think of the things we used to love to do but no longer can.
Thank you Donna, That is very true, so many things I miss doing these days, especially horse riding, but it's just too painful for me now :o( x
That was awesome. Goes to show how age and disability can change your life!
Thank you for you lovely comment Amanda. At 47 it is tough to come to terms with how restricted my life is now. Have to wait until I'm 60 to get new knees on the NHS, so saving hard to get them done privately.
I'm lucky enough to be free of arthritis for the moment, but I have many friends and relatives with new joints. The new lease they get is really wonderful to watch. I'm sorry yours are still ailing you. :(
Thank you for stopping by and reading my post, feel free to leave a comment xxx
