Quick update

Morning, just a quick update. Doing it on the iPhone with no WiFi so not sure how successful it will be. Fingers crossed it posts.

 Not sure if I've mentioned my numb tingly hands before, but yesterday I couldn't feel anything and my back was excruciatingly painful. So I had to leave work and went to the Doctors.

 She suspects I may have something called a spur in my neck trapping the nerves, so have now got to have an Xray and see a Specialist to investigate. Sadly I can't have any stronger Morphine, as the last time they upped it I could barely function.

 Wish these problems would come to an end with my health, it's getting harder and harder to stay strong.

End of One, Start of Another

Today I finished the small bag I've been knitting, not sure of it's use yet, but I saw it in a magazine, and wanted to try out the bows on the front, I'm very pleased with the result.

It's slightly smaller than I thought it would be, but I'm sure I'll find a use for it, you can never have too many bags!

I then went to Hobbycraft in Woking to get myself some new wool
for my next project. I'm actually going to try knit myself a jumper at last. I think I've had enough practice at learning to understand how to read a pattern now.

Tardy Blogger

Seems like an age since I last updated my Blog, but in fact it has only been a week, but the longest week of my life!

Finally got the result of those Medicals, a report that doesn't make pleasant reading I can tell you.

Got told by my Boss "If any more reasonable adjustments were required, then I would be getting my P45 so I can sit on the sofa all the time.

Which was well out of order, and resulted in several nasty Panic Attacks this week, due I think, to the fact I've been mega stressed

about this whole process.

Items for Himself

This week I've been crocheting, as I had a lot of wool left over from making Badger Boo's 'kerchief.

I've said before, Himself used to be in the R.E.M.E  so I have a lot of Blue, Red and Yellow wool.

So I decided if football nuts can have a towel with their team on the parcel shelf, I would crochet Himself one for his parcel shelf based on his old corps stable belt.

I didn't tell him what I was up too, and could only do it whilst he

was out or he would have recognised the colours.

Badger Boo's 'kerchief

I brought several magazines this week to see if I could find a simple pattern to knit. In one I found a lovely shawl/scarf in two colours and decided this project was for me.

Of course me being me, decided to do it in three colours, as red, blue and yellow are the R.E.M.E colours. Himself was in the R.E.M.E for 22 years so thought he appreciate my efforts.

I've never had to knit with two balls of wool, let alone three and I was getting into a terrible tangle!

I'd been at it for about two hours and was pleased with how the colours were working out, but getting very frustrated by this time, having to untangle the wool every few minutes. There is probably
an easier way to do it than I was doing, but I don't know about it!

So I decided to have a break and update Badgers facebook group, I was reading a comment from one of his good friends Finnegan who is a Service Dog in America, he has a very trendy and extensive wardrobe.
