Welcome to My New Blog

What better way to start off my all new updated, face-lifted blog than with a jolly old Saturday Caption.

Everything from the my old blog has been imported, so no pictures or comments have been lost Phew **wipes brow**

->-> The important thing to note is that the URL has changed <-<- So don't forget to bookmark it!

I was able to carry the Networked Blogs followers over, but it didn't matter what I did, the Friend Connect Widget just wouldn't work, which is so annoying!!

I hope you like the new look?

Right without further ado, lets get on with the SatCapping...
This number plate is just so me lol

Daft as a Brush

Sometimes I'm so Stupid!

Last week I decided that I would start posting my Silent Sunday pictures back on this blog, to give you all a weekly break from my constant moaning.

So what do I do?
I go and post it on Just Look and You Will See again!! So head over  there and check it out if you came here looking for it. I was confused, the linky came out early this week. If you follow me regularly, you will know this is actually not that surprising.

Being as I'm sat here writing this post I'll update you on the Job situation.

I got it. I got Medical Retirement and not Medical Dismissal. What a relief I can tell you.

So I'll be unemployed after 24th December, what will I do with myself?

Maybe I will finally get to the bottom of that forever growing pile of ironing, who knows, but I doubt it.

I have no idea how I will survive financially. I have no real qualifications to get myself a decent job, although I did take my GCSE's in Maths and English three years ago, getting an A Star for both.

I may go back to collage, I have plans for a business, but can I do it on my own?

Or I might just sit down and watch every single episode of  "Lost"  again, now that sounds like a plan!

I'm not happy I am being retired off like some knackered old horse, but retirement gives me so many more choices than dismissal would have.

What will the future hold?
I have absolutely no chuffin' idea, but it's really, really scary...

Nutty Nuthatch

The Nuthatch that thinks he is a Budgerigar!

This Nuthatch obviously thinks that his reflection is a threat, he has never bothered with the mirror before.

I can only assume that it's now the mating season, and he wants his reflection gone, so he can have his lady friend all to himself.

It's amusing to watch, but if he carries on I will have to take the
mirror down, and I would hate for him to hurt himself.

A Step in the Right Direction

On Saturday it was Godalming Town Show, I really wanted to go, but   Himself was volunteering on the St John, Community First Responder stand, which meant I would have to go alone.

I rarely go out alone as I suffer crippling Social Phobia, after much faffing about and giving myself a stern talking too, I brushed off  Badger Boo and we set off in the car.

When we got to the carpark, we sat down and had a rest for about half an hour, whilst I built up the courage to face the crowds.

The Bermuda Triangle

Went for my Medical yesterday, and pleased to say the Doctor was really very nice and considerate of my situation, unlike the woman I saw previously!

But Winnersh Triangle is more like the Bermuda Triangle! Himself and I got off the train, to be confronted by loads of steps to get out of the station, luckily we were early, so I was able to take my time hobbling down them.

Checked the map we were given and set off into a huge industrial estate, after about approx 10 minutes we still hadn't found the place we were going too, even though we were standing on the spot indicated on the map (we are both competent map readers by the way). So started to look around for somebody to ask.

Long story short, after taking the scenic route we did get to the Medical Center eventually on

Just for Fun...

Copied from a friend on facebook, thought it was time I added some humour to this Blog... Hope you find it as funny as I do... Warning:- This does contain some swear words!

Dear employee:
As a result of the reduction of money budgeted for all department areas, we are forced to cut down on our number of personnel. Under this plan, older employees will be asked to take early retirement, thus permitting the retention of younger people who represent our future

Therefore, a program to phase out older personnel by the end of the next fiscal year, via retirement, will be placed into effect immediately.

This program will be known as S.L.A.P. (Severance of Late-Aged Personnel).

Employees who are SLAPPED will be given the opportunity to look for jobs outside the company.

SLAPPED employees can request a review of their employment records before actual retirement takes place.
