That Cheeky Badger Boo!

Anyone would think that my naughty little dog Badger Boo didn't have his own beds, yes I say beds, he has three! Two upstairs and one downstairs, but does he sleep in them? Not if he gets a chance to climb onto my bed he doesn't!

Last night I went upstairs to get something from the bedroom and this is the sight I'm greeted by.

This is the life zzzzzzzzzzzz

He's so relaxed he never heard me coming, his little feet were twitching as if he was dreaming about chasing something and he looked so cute. He didn't even open his eyes when I called him gently, I didn't want to startle him in case he slipped off the bed and hurt himself.

I don't mind too much, but he knows he should ask before getting up onto the furniture. It does seem the older he gets the cheekier he gets, he will be 11 years old next month, if you've not met him on before.

After a gentle nudge he awoke and was off like a shot, as he knew he was out of order, I collected what I went upstairs for and the evening proceeded as normal.

Eventually it was time for bed, and what do I find when I get back upstairs? Yep you guessed it, Badger Boo fast asleep on the bed again!

This is MY bed now...
The cheek of him makes me smile every time, I really don't mind to much where he sleeps, as he is getting a little stiffer with old age and obviously finds my bed more comfy than his own, and he always looks so cute I just had to take these pictures.

  1. Very sweet. I wonder if it's because the evenings have been colder this week? Brin has been doing the same thing x.
