  1. Super shot, Dawn. Love the light and depth of focus x.

    1. Thanks Lesley, it was flying about, so I was trying to keep up with it, sadly all the shots with it's wings open were out of focus or far too dark.

I can't take the credit for getting it right, the camera was on auto focus due to the speed of it. I don't normally use the auto but opted for it on this occasion **cheats**

    1. Thanks Amy, I just take pictures of what I see, some good but many bad, obviously I don't put up the really bad ones lol..

How I love digital cameras, gone are the days of hoping for the best and waiting until developed to see what you have.

  4. As someone who suffers from a severe phobia of all things fluttery and winged, I still can't get past how pretty this shot is! It's so delicate- you're a very talented photographer :) x

  5. So well timed, just stunning....you must have either a great zoom or be very good at sneaky approaches!!

    1. My camera has an amazing zoom, then you push a button and it zooms even closer.

A couple of years ago with the same camera I took a picture of St Michaels Mount from the swimming pool in Penzance approx 0.5 of a mile, and you could see the scaffolding and people working on it in the picture but not with the naked eye,

This shot was taken with my Fuji S100 and I recommend it as its not too heavy or bulky.
